We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer – Tank Gauging at Honeywell in the UK. You will be responsible for on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems, following detailed work instructions. You will also amend outdated or incorrect instructions with the help of Engineering teams and train customers on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. This is a field-based role requiring travel to customer sites.

Key requirements:
  • Start-up, commissioning, and preventative maintenance at customer sites, including repairs.
  • Understanding customer requirements and working closely with them on existing systems.
  • Informing customers about obsolete equipment and encouraging replacement of old equipment that cannot be repaired.
  • Creating accurate reports on all activities and customer findings.
  • Using and maintaining measuring equipment and tools, calibrating them according to procedures.
Key skills and qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar field service role, ideally within the instrumentation sector; Enraf knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Full UK Driving License.
