We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer – Tank Gauging at Honeywell in the UK. You will be responsible for on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems, following detailed work instructions and collaborating with Engineering teams to update outdated instructions. You will also train customers on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures. This is a field-based role requiring travel to customer sites.

Key requirements:
  • Start-up, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs at customer sites.
  • Understanding customer requirements and working closely with them on existing systems.
  • Informing customers about obsolete equipment and encouraging replacements when necessary.
  • Creating accurate reports on activities and customer findings.
  • Using and maintaining measuring equipment and tools, calibrating as per procedures.
Key skills and qualifications:
  • Experience in field services, ideally within instrumentation – Enraf knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction at all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with technical expertise and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Full UK Driving License.
