Assist in managing the day-to-day workload of the maintenance team to ensure effective service delivery and achievement of departmental targets. This includes planning and resourcing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and maintenance shutdowns. Foster a culture of continuous improvement among skilled technicians, providing leadership and line management to oversee workloads, support team members, monitor issues, and ensure targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Robot and PLC programming
- Maintain and repair Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic systems and equipment
- Manage maintenance projects and ensure safety standards are upheld
- Perform diagnostic and repair work to maximize equipment availability
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Record all maintenance work accurately in paper and electronic systems
- Analyze issues to identify root causes and develop solutions
- Manage tools, equipment, and spares inventory
- Maintain high standards of tidiness and organization following 5S principles
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Prepare reports and present progress at meetings
- Perform quality control reviews and apply technical skills to expedite issues

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, QC tools, and safety legislation (ISO14001)
