Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt syllabi.
  • Work with Digital Learning Team to create materials and formats for blended and hybrid course delivery models.
  • Develop course materials.
  • Coordinate courseware and curriculum with the academic department chair or designated graduate program coordinator, including reviewing textbook and courseware changes.
  • Facilitate hybrid course and class instruction, teaching the assigned class according to learning objectives and session plans specified by Muhlenberg College.
  • Evaluate student performance based on course deliverables and rubrics.
  • Participate in faculty planning meetings and provide leadership within the course and overall graduate programs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree required; Ph.D. or terminal degree preferred.
  • Relevant professional experience in academia.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment.
  • Support for liberal arts education ideals.
  • Previous college/university teaching experience preferred.
