The Sr. Product Strategist will join Fortra’s Strategy org to drive the vision, strategy, and execution. As part of the Product Strategy team, this role is pivotal in defining, building, and managing Threat Brain capabilities that address market demands and customer needs. As a blend of strategic foresight and tactical execution, the Sr. Product Strategist will leverage influence and leadership to deliver Threat Brain to the market.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain Threat Brain feature requirements and roadmap.
- Define and oversee the integration of new security products with Threat Brain that align with the company's technology, strategic direction, and business goals.
- Collaborate with Threat Intelligence, architecture, user experience, and engineering teams to define product features and ensure successful software development and release.
- Drive and oversee engineering development plans for software releases.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams, to ensure launch readiness. Provide product training, review documentation, and support customer-facing teams.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including drafting and reviewing product documentation for software releases.
- Lead regular product and service reviews with leadership, tracking key metrics such as threat artifacts, products integrated, customer counts, revenue and other success indicators.
- Collaborate with commercial product leadership to develop go-to-market strategies, identify target customers, and leverage competitive differentiators.
- Support product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other efforts to enhance product adoption and strengthen the company brand.
- Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle by meeting regularly with customers, understanding their challenges, and translating those insights into actionable requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert in Fortra’s Threat Intelligence to help in customer webinars, create training materials to explain product functionality and address questions.
- Monitor and document competitive landscapes to inform differentiated product development strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in Threat Intelligence and similar areas from technical roles or product management experience.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate product success, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate findings effectively.
- Ability to manage detailed requirements across product features to ensure successful product releases.
- Strong problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills.
- Experience delivering initiatives from conception to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus across diverse teams.
- Experience working with development, Threat Intelligence teams, and customers to document and finalize detailed product requirements.
- Familiarity with release planning and communicating plans across the organization.
- Expertise in defining requirements for acceptance testing and product documentation.
- Strong understanding of security industry concepts and technologies, including security/access control, scalability, high availability, and application configuration management.
