How you'll make a difference
Reporting into the Head of Strategic Transformation Risk, this role is responsible for the second line oversight over resilience, information security, and technology through a small team. You will direct and lead appropriate monitoring and assurance to ensure operational resilience risks are identified and controls are effective, alongside completing regulatory submissions. You will also provide assurance over our Core transformation programme to ensure security and resilience controls are properly designed and implemented. Your work will make a difference, delivering positive outcomes for our customers.
What will you bring to the role?
- Significant experience in Operational Resilience or IT Audit, with knowledge of modern technology platforms including Microsoft Azure, Cloud, and IT security, change, and risk.
- Strong, visible senior leadership with the ability to inspire, coach, and foster high performance, inclusivity, and diversity.
- Well networked externally in the industry.
- Solutions-focused, data-driven decision maker, capable of challenging and influencing senior leaders.
- Proven strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into delivery.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Experience in Financial Services and familiarity with core banking platforms and change programmes is preferred.
