About The Olive School, Birmingham
The Olive School, Birmingham is a Muslim faith-based, primary school for 4 to 11 year olds, welcoming pupils from all faiths and none. Opened in Sparkhill in 2016, it has a leadership specialism and was graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in June 2019 and February 2025, maintaining high standards of academic excellence, teaching, character development, and behaviour. We offer a knowledge-based curriculum alongside a leadership programme that fosters character and social action, believing every pupil can become a successful leader.
Who we’re looking for
We seek an unqualified teacher with a proven success record and experience in raising pupil outcomes. As part of Star Academies, a high-performing network of schools, you will deliver quality teaching that inspires achievement and love of learning, demonstrating success in improving pupil outcomes.
You will have:
- An honours degree qualification (typically 2ii or above) or relevant qualification.
- Creativity to engage and progress learners.
- The ability to teach across the age phase you will be trained in.
- Effective classroom teaching skills.
