About The Olive School, Birmingham

The Olive School, Birmingham is a Muslim faith-based, primary school for 4 to 11 year olds, welcoming pupils from all faiths and none. Opened in Sparkhill in 2016, it has a leadership specialism and was graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in June 2019 and February 2025, maintaining high standards of academic excellence, teaching, character development, and behaviour. Who we’re looking for

We seek an unqualified teacher with a proven success record and experience in raising pupil outcomes. As part of Star Academies, a high-performing network of schools, you will deliver quality teaching that inspires achievement and love of learning, demonstrating success in improving pupil outcomes.

You will have:

  • An honours degree qualification (typically 2ii or above) or relevant qualification.
  • Creativity to engage and progress learners.
  • The ability to teach across the age phase you will be trained in.
  • Effective classroom teaching skills.
