The role involves:
- Decommissioning nuclear facilities
- Supporting the Continuous at Sea Deterrent
- Aiding the operation and build of nuclear power plants
Our aim is to clean up nuclear legacy and contribute to energy security, security of energy supply, and net zero commitments. Our skilled team works on defence, decommissioning, new build, and nuclear generation projects, winning over 78% of tenders. We innovate to make nuclear safer, faster, and more cost-effective, supporting the UK’s Net Zero goals through projects like Hinkley C, Sizewell C, and X Energy.
Daily tasks may include:
- Creating designs
- Leading project delivery
- Providing solutions to clients

Key responsibilities:
- Promote cooperation across Engineering and other teams
- Manage customer relationships and develop new business
- Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are followed
- Communicate and manage project risks
- Produce and review technical documentation and calculations
- Assess changes and maintain design integrity
- Develop proposals for investigations and improvements
- Support project planning and delivery
- Make engineering decisions within delegated authority
- Act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorized
- Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures
Essential experience:
- Open to all engineering backgrounds, nuclear experience not necessary
- Ownership, high performance, challenge the status quo
- Knowledge of CAD and engineering drawing practices
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills
- Leadership experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent
- Ability to obtain Chartered status
- Must be able to achieve SC security clearance
