What You Will Get To Do:
- Provide support, advice and guidance across the Data Protection Framework including data processing queries, data breach management, supplier due diligence, ROPAs and privacy notices
- Create & assess DPIAs for change projects across the business
- Establish effective collaboration with the relevant internal stakeholders at all levels to facilitate delivery of the operational elements of the Data Protection Framework
- Develop relationships with internal and external parties to provide effective communication on data protection issues
- Participate in internal projects to provide context in the application of data protection requirements to support the creation of effective and pragmatic solutions
- Work closely with the business to ensure data protection processes and procedures remain fit for purpose and are updated to reflect data protection changes
- Provide support to the Senior Management of the Data Protection team in respect of data protection matters
- Identify and take action to help build upon our data protection culture
- Provide input/updates at relevant workshops on data protection related matters
What You Will Bring:
- Knowledge and a working understanding of data protection laws (especially UK & EU GDPR), codes of practice and regulator guidance
- Working knowledge of data protection frameworks
- A data protection qualification (or willing to work towards obtaining one) such as CIPP/E or PC.dp
