What you’ll do

As Marketing and Communications Manager at the iconic three Michelin star Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, you will lead the restaurant’s online presence and brand communications, delivering high-impact, high-touch campaigns that reflect the elegance and artistry of the dining experience. In this role, you will:

  • Manage all social media activity and online engagement, ensuring content reflects the brand’s refined identity and resonates with existing and prospective guests.
  • Implement and lead the social media strategy, developing and publishing high-quality, engaging content across all channels, and managing daily posts, story templates, and community engagement.
  • Act as a visual brand guardian, curating a cohesive aesthetic for Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester’s digital platforms.
  • Organise and oversee photo and video shoots, collaborating with paid creators and media professionals to produce exceptional content.
  • Support and contribute to press releases, articles, keynote presentations, and brand campaigns in collaboration with the Public Relations team.
  • Advise on new campaigns, presenting micro-strategies and creative concepts to support seasonal offerings or brand initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activity, guest sentiment, and platform performance, translating insights into strategy recommendations.
  • Produce monthly reports and newsletters, analysing social performance metrics, influencer collaboration outcomes, and guest engagement data.
  • Maintain an editorial content calendar, ensuring strategic alignment across posts, newsletters, and broader communications.
  • Deliver training to internal teams, enhancing their understanding of the restaurant’s digital identity and social engagement strategy.
  • Community management of Alain Ducasse’s channels, including timely responses and engagement – occasionally beyond standard hours.

This role is instrumental in driving the restaurant’s prestige and appeal, ensuring that every element of the guest journey - from discovery to post-dining connection - is communicated with clarity, elegance, and creative flair.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in a marketing, communications, or social media management role, ideally within luxury hospitality, fine dining, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of content creation, campaign execution, and social platform analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-profile social media channels and respond to brand reputation needs.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and public relations capabilities.
  • Highly organised project manager, with a track record of delivering strategic and creative initiatives on time.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong eye for visual consistency and brand identity.
