Community Support Worker £1000 WELCOME BONUS (SUBJECT TO T & C\’S – Gomersal Oxford Drive BD19 4TU)

Gomersal Salary: £12:00 per hour (£13:00 per hour Weekends and Bank Holidays) Hours: Flexible working hours available

We\’re looking for a Community Support Worker to work as part of an experienced team to deliver an exceptional service at our supported living service in Cleckheaton, BD19 4TU.

Main duties will include

  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with the service users, contributing to the creation of a homely and pleasant living environment for each service user.
  • Participate in the development of service user/s support plans, risk assessments and programmes, complete written records as necessary and in accordance with the guidelines provided.
  • Providing care and support for our service users when conducting daily tasks.
  • Provide personal care as and when required.
  • Creatively support our service users to reach their full potential, achieve their goals and live their best lives.
  • Accompany service users in activities and visits as and when required.

Skills/Experience required

  • Previous experience of working within a care/support environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good IT skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and car is advantageous.
  • Good time management.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Patience and resilience.
  • Flexibility and Commitment.
