Website Administrator / Webmaster / Digital Content Marketing Assistant who has a good knowledge of the web and technologies in general with an eye for consistent website design and layout required for a well-established company based in Brentford, West London, which will be your place of work. Please note there is no remote working with this position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Due to recent expansion and growth, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Website Administrator / Webmaster / Digital Content Marketing Assistant to join a team at the Brentford head office and to develop & maintain multiple brand websites across various regions. As the Website Administrator / Webmaster / Digital Content Marketing Assistant you will have excellent knowledge of web technologies and Content Management Systems / CMS with an eye for attractive but user friendly website design and layout. Working as the Website Administrator / Webmaster / Digital Content Marketing Assistant you will assist the Marketing Team with multiple tasks, including ongoing web development / web design, system backups, SEO strategies, newsletters, site optimisation as well as setting up or improving existing landing pages for promotional offers and run A/B tests to monitor page & offer performance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who likes a varied workload and has a passion for website design, development and content management, including SEO, marketing, Google AdWords and Google Analytics.

DUTIES

  • Develop and maintain pages on new and existing company e-commerce websites & portals
  • Develop & update existing campaign landing pages and run A/B tests to find the best performing page versions
  • Run site reports on multiple websites to ensure the websites' good performance with no 404 errors / broken links / script errors
  • Ensure that the Websites are fast, efficient, meet modern standards and are optimised for best results on Google & others
  • Implementation of Google Tags, ensure they are working with Google Ads and Analytics
  • Ensure the site information and content is complete, correct and always up to date
  • Ensuring that there are no reported security issues with installed WordPress plugins
  • Recommending changes or enhancements to team leaders that could improve the performance of our websites

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential Skills:

  • Good knowledge of the web and technologies
  • Experience working with WordPress websites in a fast moving and constantly evolving commercial environment
  • An eye for design and layout with the ability to edit or update CSS if required
  • Development language knowledge/skill is a big PLUS i.e., HTML5 & PHP
  • Ability to work as part of a team and help out other team members when required
  • Basic Image editing
  • Excellent knowledge of WordPress, integration and debugging of various plugins including WooCommerce, Cloudflare, payment plugins, API’s etc
