KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Based on brand strategy, customer insights, market trends, analysis of sales indicators, and past seasons’ performances, support the definition of a top-line merchandising strategy for Leather Goods, Footwear, and Accessories, including: range structure, optimal option count, and price architecture.
- Sales, margin, and inventory targets.
- Target customer and opportunity identification.
- Market trends and competition analysis.
- Lead the preparation of seasonal briefs for design and development teams, supported by regular review of competitor intelligence: pricing, product offering, range structure, new launches, etc.
- Collaborate with regional merchandising, commercial, and wholesale teams to develop capsules and special projects.
- Support range planning, continuity performance management, lifecycle, and launch/discontinuation processes.
- Work with Product Development to review product info, costs, and margins against targets.
- Review product and collection performance with Retail Merchandising using key indicators, and prepare seasonal analyses.
- Define action plans based on sales trends, collaborating with business planning, product development, and supply chain teams.
- Create and manage merchandising tools and oversee product info uploads with support from Merchandising Assistant.
- Propose international price positioning.
- Manage critical path timelines to ensure timely product launches.
- Support VM in adjusting guidelines for commercial needs and local performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, PR for key launches.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to build good relationships with key partners: Design, Product Development, Retail Merchandising, Markets, Supply Chain.
