Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a BIM Technician to join the Anglian Water @One Alliance. As part of Anglian Water's @one Alliance, we are on a mission to create a sustainable and resilient future for water. With an ambitious £2.3 billion capital investment in AMP8, we are revolutionising infrastructure, sustainability, and digital transformation to protect the environment and support growing communities.
What will you be doing as our new BIM Technician?
As our new BIM Technician, you'll produce advanced 3D designs and models mainly relating to the Civil, Structural, Mechanical design of water assets in a timely and accurate fashion.
Key responsibilities:- Produce 3D models and drawings ensuring compliance with relevant local and national standards using BIM applications like Plant3D, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks and Recap.
- Work with all members of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide input to the pre-construction Health and Safety Plan, including risk assessments, so that it can be prepared and updated at appropriate intervals.
- Ensure technical content of all work is carried out in accordance with the agreed timescales and budgets.
- Work cross-functionally across the Alliance to ensure project requirements are met and drive efficient delivery.
- Participate in project reviews relating to design, progress and coordination.
