The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

We have an exciting opportunity in our Operations team, working within the Micro Electronics line of business. You will manage manufacturing resources, assembly, integration, and testing within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to ensure programme and project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards, using Key Performance Indicators for continuous improvement. You will also develop your team in line with the people management framework to meet business requirements. Due to the nature of this role, on-site presence is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading daily cross-functional team meetings and Gemba walks
  • Implementing and managing Lean Manufacturing principles such as KanBan, 5S, and Visual Management
  • Defining and achieving overhead and capital budgets
  • Contributing to build & test cell budgets (sales, profit, cash)
  • Leading and managing all Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) activities within the IPT
  • Driving yield improvements and reducing non-value added processes
  • Innovating and improving processes across multifunctional teams
  • Managing resources (equipment, documentation, facilities, staff) to ensure quality, cost, and schedule satisfaction for internal and external customers

  • Delivering Lean Manufacturing programs
  • Motivating and supporting teams to achieve results
  • Leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
  • Micro Electronic manufacturing processes
