A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specialising in French is sought by a well-regarded Independent Girls\’ school in Barnet. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop a love for the French language and culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages Teacher lessons in French across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop students\’ skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
• Assess and monitor student progress in French, providing effective feedback to support their language acquisition.
• Contribute to the promotion of French language and culture within the school through extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French.
• Demonstrated experience teaching French at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Native or near-native fluency in French and a strong understanding of French culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating students to learn a foreign language.
• Outer London Payscale.
• Supportive and collaborative Modern Foreign Languages department within an Independent school.
