Job Title: Fire Stopping engineer Location: Covering within the M25 Salary: Upto 40k Our client is a leading passive fire protection specialist. They supplying are a well established supplier and installer of fire doors and passive fire safety solutions. They have experience delivering to public and private sectors. This position requires you to cover within the M25, however they do always give you work that is located close to home as possible but there may be sometimes you would need to travel that bit further. Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Duties: We are looking for candidates with previous experience working on Fire stopping/Fire Door projects: Install fire stopping to fire doors Small to large penetrations Use of ablative batts Reading site plans Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces Ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS) Consistently achieve agreed performance targets Keep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays Maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle Adhere to the company\’s quality procedures in all aspects of the job Act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Engineer Experience: NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection FIRAS card preferred but not required Full driving license Good communication skills You will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success.
