About this opportunity and L3Harris UK: From 11 UK sites, our team of nearly 1,000 people delivers unique capabilities across space, air, land, sea and cyber for military, security and commercial customers across the UK and worldwide. L3Harris in Farnborough engineer and maintain Night Vision Goggles, Precision Approach Radar systems, and Tactical Radios. Notably, we are the proud designer, supplier and maintainer of the 50,000 tactical radios in the Bowman tactical C4I system in service with the UK Armed Forces and are working to define and deliver the next generation system, Morpheus.

This opportunity is to join the Communications segment global contracts and industrialisation function, covering Europe.

What the role will involve:

  • Understanding and analysis of Customer requirements, to establish business solutions in response
  • Formulating and preparing Customer proposals and responses
  • Negotiating with Customers and capturing outcomes in formal Agreements
  • Contributing to projects
  • Appraising colleagues on contractual risk and opportunities
  • Socialising and gaining permission to commercial propositions
