Job Description: Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • You will have 5 National 5s, or equivalent, including Maths and English; or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of consolidated debt relating to individuals and businesses, and provide referrals to support agencies in order to break the debt cycle whilst increasing recovery levels within the Council.

The Individual:

  • You will have experience of delivering a customer focused service, the ability to deal with potentially sensitive or challenging situations and have experience of assisting members of the public who are in stressful situations.
  • You will have well developed communication skills, an awareness of Data Protection Legislation and experience using computerised systems including Microsoft along with the ability to analyse data/information with attention to detail.
  • A flexible approach to carrying out duties, with the ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively with the ability to work as part of a team and on your own with minimum supervision is essential.
  • A Level 1 Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required.
