The Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of selling to governments, school networks, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, highly skilled in complex sales cycles, public procurement, and stakeholder management. They are fluent in English and have experience in EdTech, technology solutions, or education-related products.
Seniority & Sales Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a senior sales role with a focus on B2G (Business-to-Government) and/or B2B (Business-to-Business) sales.
- Strong experience selling high-value, consultative solutions rather than transactional deals.
- Proven ability to navigate long sales cycles (6+ months) and complex procurement processes.
- Experience in handling multi-stakeholder sales, engaging with ministries, education authorities, school networks, and institutional buyers.
Language & Regional Expertise
- Deep understanding of education landscape, including public and private school systems, government procurement, funding mechanisms, and policy frameworks.
- How digital learning solutions are adopted in schools.
Experience in B2G Sales
- Strong experience in government and institutional sales, ideally in education, technology, or SaaS solutions.
- Direct experience managing public tenders, RFPs, compliance requirements, and large-scale contracts.
- Familiarity with grant-funded projects, multi-year contracts, and decision-making processes in education.
- Comfortable engaging with C-level executives, procurement officers, and policymakers.
Industry & Product Knowledge
- Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, digital learning, or enterprise technology solutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of English language learning solutions, curriculum development, or teacher training programs is a plus.
- Understanding of how technology adoption works in schools and government-funded education programs.
- Strong consultative selling approach, able to position a value-driven solution rather than just a product.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills, especially in high-stakes, long-term contracts.
- Experience building and managing a strong sales pipeline, with a focus on enterprise-level accounts.
- Ability to influence complex stakeholder groups, balancing commercial goals with policy-driven decision-making.
- Highly autonomous – able to work independently and drive sales in a developing market.
- Resilient and adaptable – comfortable navigating bureaucracy and changing regulatory environments.
- Culturally aware and well-connected in the education/government space.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of articulating value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
