Clockwork Education have an excellent relationship with this welcoming, 1 form entry school who are seeking a confident and passionate Year 1 teacher to start ASAP on a full time basis. You will be working with a mixed Year 1 class therefore experience within KS1 is essential. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum and will be required to carry out the full role of class teacher. There will be a TA present to support throughout lessons however, you must be able to work independently and have good classroom control. Knowledge of Phonics and the EYFS/KS1 curriculum is essential – ECT placements will be accepted as relevant experience. Experience of Phonics screening tests would be highly advantageous but not essential. To qualify for the role you must be able to provide x2 educational based references and hold a relevant teaching qualification. You will also be required to provide/apply for an enhanced DBS certificate if you do not currently have one on the update service.
