We are currently seeking a Fleet Maintenance Engineer to support our operations on the Croydon Tramlink network. As a Fleet Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Croydon tram fleet. You will deliver hands-on technical support, contribute to the investigation and resolution of performance and maintenance issues, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive engineering excellence.
We’ll look to you for:
- Provide technical support to resolve fleet performance and maintenance issues.
- Monitor, analyse, and investigate technical problems, proposing timely and effective solutions.
- Support incident and failure investigations, including diagnostic assessments on-site and off-site.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support the implementation of modifications and improvements to tram systems.
- Ensure all engineering risks are identified, documented, and mitigated.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications in line with contractual obligations.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Track project progress, manage work packages, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
