We are seeking an experienced Rostering Administrator for a permanent role in Ipswich. Join a local based service provider who are dedicated to enriching the lives of people with a disability. With a deep sense of purpose, they provide compassion and support to those who need it the most.
Starting asap, working full-time hours, the role will involve a range of rostering and administration support to the team and their clients.
About the role:
- Develop, implement and manage staff / client rosters to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and services considering all preferences and suitability.
- Liaise with staff to understand availability, preferences, and any scheduling conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.
- Interact with clients to gather requirements, communicate schedule changes and ensure that staff meet their needs and expectations.
- Ensuring all communication is documented within the rostering system.
- Provide back up support to the Recruitment Officer.
- Assist in the training of staff on rostering systems and processes.
- Associated administration duties.

To be considered, you should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Previous rostering experience (Visual Care rostering system experience would be considered beneficial).
- Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing and competing priorities.
- A current Yellow Card and Blue Card (or the willingness to obtain).
- Availability to provide on call support outside of the businessβ normal hours of operation once every 6 weeks (penalty rates apply).
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Ipswich (on-site car parking available). Salary will be negotiated based on skills and experience ($66,000 β $72,000 per annum plus superannuation) and you will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced and dedicated team committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people facing unique challenges.
