Location: Castle Donington DE74

Rate: £13.21 per hour if directly employed or £17.00 per hour if self-employed

Hours: 7 hours per week - Mondays 8.30am to 3.30pm

Contract: Permanent

Role Requirements

You will be required to take the client out for the day, for example to the farm. Therefore, you must have your own vehicle and a full clean driving licence. Mileage of £9 is payable per week.

The client uses vocal communication and Makaton. They can become frustrated if they are not understood; however, they do not exhibit challenging behaviours. Whilst out in the community, you will need to provide help as they cannot read and write.

The client requires the use of a disabled toilet; however, they do not like the door to be locked so you will need to stand outside. Periodic breaks are required when walking to rest their legs.

This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, positive and proactive who enjoys being active. Genuine applicants only please.

The role is subject to interview, references and an enhanced DBS check (paid for by the funding authority if you don't already have a certificate).
