Statom Group Ltd. is a well-respected civil engineering company specializing in Remediation, Groundwork, and Structures. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team.

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for performing on-site repairs and maintenance for our fleet of construction equipment. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be critical in ensuring our vehicles are operational and safe, supporting the efficiency of our projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance on various construction/engineering vehicles and plant equipment, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and small plant.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire checks.
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts replaced.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, keeping both personnel and equipment safe.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Mobile Fitter or in a similar role within the construction/engineering/plant sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and machinery repair techniques.
  • A strong focus on safety, with knowledge of industry safety standards.
  • Full UK driving license required.
Days/Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, 10 hours working day, 1 Hour Lunch.
