Job Description

Abcam's Product Data Integration (PDI) team plays a key role in enhancing our customer experience & increasing revenue opportunities. We achieve this with our expert team of scientists and data specialists who provide our customers with the most comprehensive, accurate, & up-to-date product information across our digital platforms. As we expand our product offerings and enhance our digital systems, we are looking for a Scientific Product Data Associate to increase our resource capacity during a fixed period.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Produce & maintain associated kit protocol booklets following guidelines and input from wider teams.
  • Perform data updates promptly with high attention to detail.
  • Conduct data quality checks, including screening potential new data images.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, with experience in Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry, and/or Flow Cytometry. Ability to follow defined processes and suggest improvements for efficiency is essential. Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to resolve internal & external product data queries promptly. Proactive communication with stakeholders regarding task progress or blockers is expected. The ability to prioritize and process large amounts of data logically and efficiently is crucial to ensure our customers receive accurate, up-to-date product information quickly.
