A National Domiciliary Care and Supported Living Care Provider needing several Care Assistants to join their growing service is presently seeking candidates!
You will assist vulnerable adults in the community with all facets of their daily lives as a care assistant or support worker, including mealtimes, mobility, personal care, and social and physical activities. For the proper applicant, this position can be incredibly fulfilling. You should ideally have experience working as a care home or hospital support worker or assistant. However, we can offer you the necessary training if you possess comparable experience and the character traits to work in patient care.
Duties:- Making house calls and visiting clients in order to give care
- Helping clients every day with personal and household care
- Ensuring the customer is at ease in their house
- Making notes or charting for later review
- Providing service users with company and encouraging listening
- Keeping an eye on the service user’s health and reporting any changes
- Taking emergency action
- Medication prompting and administration
- Strong foundational literacy and numeracy skills, as well as the capacity to operate with little oversight.
- An enthusiasm for providing clients with the best possible care and support.
- You have to be someone who desires to change other people’s lives.
- You need to have a positive, helpful, and can-do attitude.
- A strong work ethic and meticulousness.
- You need a valid UK driver’s license.
- An upgraded DBS check will be necessary.
- A minimum of six months of work experience is required; individuals without experience will get training.
