What we are looking for:
Invesco is seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President, Product Management, to support our firm’s Private Credit team! Our European private credit capabilities are rapidly expanding and we are seeking a motivated, curious, independent, and hard-working individual to join a dynamic team in our London office. You will primarily focus on supporting business development strategy initiatives for our European private credit business across broadly syndicated loans, CLO, direct lending and special situations. You will work closely with our private credit team, including Portfolio Managers, Client Portfolio Managers and fellow Product Managers, as well as other functions across the firm including distribution, marketing, compliance, operations and other key business support functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping with launches of new capabilities, product positioning, product research & competitive trends, and support of overall product management initiatives.
- Managing and supporting marketing collateral related to private credit capabilities.
- Assisting in crafting responses to RFP/RFI questionnaires.
- Collaborating with team members on strategic and ad-hoc projects.
- Coordinating other efforts between departments (i.e., distribution, marketing, compliance, operations).
- Developing subject matter expertise regarding offerings as well as key investment strategy, team and approach messaging.
- Originating and coordinating responses to client inquiries related to capital raising and ongoing relationship management.
- Preparing client presentations, reporting and marketing materials.
- Working with team members to liaise with sales force to ensure timely and high-quality client deliverables.
- Participating in thought leadership initiatives including commentaries, whitepapers, and other media.
What you can bring:
You should have an understanding of private credit markets and concepts. Strong communication, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and organizational skills are core requirements for the position. You will need a strong knowledge of the investment philosophy and process of each investment strategy supported. This includes a detailed understanding of current investment themes within the portfolio, knowledge of the portfolio holdings, risk attributes of the strategy, past and current positioning, near-term outlook for the strategy and performance.
