This role is an individual contributor position supporting the Global Regulatory Services and EMEA / APAC Regional Business Management activities. It involves working closely with global and regional leaders to align strategic and operational processes with financial goals and market strategies. The position is full-time, requiring a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with one day optional for remote work.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior management to ensure seamless business management.
- Overseeing expenses, headcount, CAPEX, and operational projects.
- Acting as a bridge between management, operations, and stakeholders to optimize workflows and budgets.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, process improvements, and risk mitigation.
- Managing resource allocation and performance analysis.
- Providing insights for decision-making and fostering stakeholder relationships.
- Preparing accurate reports and documents in compliance with regulations.
- Supporting UK and regional activities, including governance and deep dive reviews.
- Collaborating on new business initiatives and strategic projects.
- Reviewing Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and coordinating Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
Requirements to succeed:
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets operations and processes.
- Understanding of Capital Markets trading and asset class transaction lifecycles.
- Knowledge of RBC Capital Markets organizational structure.
- Financial skills, including budgeting.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Effective influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent prioritization and planning abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships across the enterprise.
- Relevant degree or experience in Finance, Engineering, Science, or Math.
