Ki’s teams have varied backgrounds and work together in an agile, cross-functional way to build the very best experience for its customers. Ki has big ambitions but needs more excellent minds to challenge the status quo and help it reach new horizons. Do you have real-world practical IT system and operations experience to take to another level? We are seeking a keen systems thinking mind, with an eye for detail, procedures and technical acumen, to help us implement and run a new IT risk management framework. This is a multi-faceted role supporting both a Technology Transformation Programme as well as maintaining oversight over current operational technology and applications.

This role will suit a sysadmin, or someone with equivalent practical experience in technology service and operations, who is looking to transition to a GRC career path; after a fruitful time at the coal face you are now ready for opportunities to stretch into a higher level business facing role – we will support, provide guidance and mentor you. Nevertheless, we are open to other experiences as we are creating a new diverse and dynamic team to build innovative ways of assessing and managing technology risk.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Risk Identification: Develop strategies, conduct horizon scanning, and collaborate across teams to identify and assess technology risks, including regulatory changes.
  • Risk Assessment: Ensure compliance with governance policies, conduct assessments and testing, monitor risk events, and support vendor risk evaluations.
  • Risk Controls Management: Implement risk and control management strategies, maintain governance frameworks, manage IT controls, and oversee GRC platform services.
  • Risk Governance & Compliance: Administer governance procedures, optimise processes, ensure record-keeping, and support audits and certifications.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare risk reports, maintain governance documentation, and develop innovative visualisations to communicate insights.
  • Management & Development: Foster learning across teams, promote compliance awareness, and advance personal expertise and team development.
Required skills & experience:
  • Experience in technology operations and administration, ITSM and ITIL.
  • Understanding of various types of Enterprise IT environments, including cloud computing, cyber security systems and corporate applications.
  • Designed, deployed and operated IT controls and procedures.
  • Created policies and standards to implement components of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance.
  • Worked with external vendors and service providers to monitor and manage performance.
  • Reported on technology risks and performance metrics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Influenced and coordinated cross-function teams.

We recognise that diversity in age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, physical ability, thought and social background bring richness to our working environment.
