Our specialist Industry & Services team provides audit services to companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 350, Small Cap, and Fledgling), AIM, and large companies/groups with turnover exceeding £150m. The team collaborates closely with overseas teams to audit UK-based subsidiaries of major global groups. At Forvis Mazars, you can bring your authentic self to work. As a Responsible Individual (RI), you will work with local and national partners to develop and expand this audit team, enhance our client offerings, and contribute to our strategic growth. You will work directly with clients and provide exceptional audit services.
What you'll do:
- Lead the client service management team in audit strategy and planning.
- Serve as a technical expert, offering advice and leadership to the audit team and clients.
- Maintain control and stability under pressure, recognizing deadlines and urgency.
- Present audit opinion summaries and other reports, including group reporting and audit committee papers.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for new work.
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience leading external audits, managing a portfolio of clients, and leading audit teams.
- Eligibility or current status as an RI, with experience managing diverse audit portfolios across large and listed sectors.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
- Proven success in winning new business.
