The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is recruiting a Band 6/5/4 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy hospital in Orpington. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's cellular histology service.
What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy and able to cut over 30 blocks an hour to a high standard, alongside having experience in embedding and staining. On a day-to-day basis, you will support the senior biomedical scientists in delivering the service and guiding junior staff.
Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:
- HCPC registered
- UK NHS or private sector Histology laboratory experience
- Relevant qualification in Biomedical Science (e.g., BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent)
