We, academics are currently recruiting supply teachers to cover primary teaching within schools in Portsmouth. We are looking for fully qualified primary teachers to join our availability and work on a flexible basis covering short term daily supply bookings. We currently look after over 90% of the primary schools in Portsmouth and we need to recruit early years teachers as well as key stage one and 2 teachers to cover PPA and supply bookings. Academics work with schools in Southsea, Northend, Copnor, Cosham, Gosport as well as plenty of schools in Hampshire and Portsmouth. Whether you are free 1 day a week or 5 days a week, we can offer you flexible work to fit in with your lifestyle. You will be paid on a day to day basis and only asked to work on the days that you have said you are available. Supply roles are suitable for newly qualified teachers, experienced teachers, retired teachers and those that want to just keep their hand in teaching. If doing a few days teaching fits in perfectly with your lifestyle then we want to hear from you. We will need you to complete a full registration with us, whereby reference\’s will need to be obtained and A Full DBS will be required.
