About the Role

A vibrant Independent school in Harrow requires an enthusiastic Art Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary period. You will deliver inspiring art lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering various mediums and techniques.
• Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
• Develop students\’ artistic skills and creativity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of art resources.
• Organise and potentially lead art-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
• Proven experience teaching art at secondary level.
• Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• MPS/UPS salary scale, dependent on experience.
