Summary

m2r Education is working with a training and development company that provides a range of public services, including employment support, skills training, independent living, and prison education. They are recognized as one of the Top 25 Education and Training providers to work for.

Based at HMP Highpoint, you will support the Education Manager in managing the curriculum, ensuring the needs of learners and employers are met, including delivery of Functional Skills, Personal & Social Development, and work-based programmes.

You will lead on functional skills quality assurance and improvement, developing an innovative approach to raise standards and meet targets in line with performance indicators.

Due to the scope of this role, a driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.

Requirements:

• Level 3 English & Maths
• Substantial experience and expertise in your field
• Experience of delivering training
• A teaching or assessing qualification (QTLS etc) is ESSENTIAL
• Ability to use diverse training methods to engage learners
• Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills
• Knowledge of policies related to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, and Data Protection
• Ability to motivate learners from diverse backgrounds and respond to their needs
• Valid DBS
