The Opportunity

EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is at the forefront of the nuclear energy revolution. As part of Edvance - a joint venture between EDF and Framatome - EPR-E leads the design and delivery of nuclear islands for major projects. We are looking for a Civil Anchorage Team Lead to manage the delivery of anchorage design and support across HPC and SZC. You'll lead a team of engineers and coordinators, ensuring technical excellence, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery of critical infrastructure.

The salary associated with this role is £64,000 (grade C) dependent on experience. What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead the civil anchorage team, overseeing the design and coordination of anchorage systems for HPC and SZC. This includes managing engineers and coordinators, ensuring compliance with structural codes and safety standards, and integrating anchorage design with other disciplines. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including teams in the UK and France, to ensure knowledge sharing and alignment. Your leadership will be key in resolving design issues, managing delivery milestones, and supporting equipment contracts. Beyond delivery, you'll build and develop a high-performing team, maintaining technical competence and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

You bring proven experience in leading engineering delivery in complex environments, with strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. You're confident presenting to technical audiences and adept at navigating project challenges. Ideally, you have experience in anchorage design, structural analysis tools, and nuclear sector standards. Familiarity with Eurocodes, reinforced concrete design, and project leadership is a plus.
