The Events Manager Role:
As Events Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver a diverse range of high-quality events that reflect our growth strategy, values, and mission. These events will aim to positively engage, inspire excitement, and foster loyalty and strong relationships with Travel Consultants, partners, customers, suppliers, and internal teams. By delivering inspiring and engaging events you will be a vital part of building trust, brand awareness, loyalty and ultimately driving business growth.
What your day might look like:
- Planning and executing in-person and virtual events across the UK and overseas
- Managing event logistics, including venue selection, supplier coordination, and budget adherence
- Developing and distributing event communications to ensure clarity and engagement
- Working closely with internal teams to align event content with business objectives
- Monitoring event performance metrics and implementing improvements as needed
- Staying informed about industry trends and incorporating innovative ideas into event planning
About You:
- Circa 5 years experience in event planning and management
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple events simultaneously
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Personable, approachable and confident in networking
- Experience with both virtual and in-person events
- Knowledge of event related health & safety and legal regulations
- Proven ability to take a creative and innovative approach to event delivery and attendee experience
- Understanding of how to successfully market an event to maximise attendance and pre-event engagement
- Able to gather data and feedback in a proactive manner; with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
