Salary: Up to £40,859 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday day shift
We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our mechanical department based at Northampton.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks
- Complete air conditioning services as required
- Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop, including electrical diagnosis if needed
- Undertake road and ramp testing
- Carry out repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to original condition
- Handle warranty repairs following manufacturer standards
- Ensure all documentation is accurately completed and procedures followed
To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (required)
- Full valid UK driving licence, held for at least 2 years
- You must own your own tools
- MOT Tester licence would be an advantage
