nDreams Studio Elevation is redefining the boundaries of VR. We’re looking for a talented and motivated UI Artist to help us explore, create, and deliver world-leading innovation in software and VR hardware. With our first title nearing release and a second in early planning, this is a great time to join our fully remote, VR-first studio.

As a UI Artist, you’ll contribute to the design and implementation of intuitive, visually engaging user interfaces that enhance player experience. You’ll work closely with the art, design, and engineering teams to bring UI concepts to life and ensure they align with the game’s aesthetic and functional goals.

The rundown:

  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Full time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Fully remote within the UK
  • Salary is competitive and dependent on experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of UI art direction and ensure assets align with project
  • Create UI solutions that demonstrate clear visual language and consider user experience
  • Develop mood boards, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate UI ideas
  • Design and produce visually appealing and optimised UI assets for in-game use
  • Use Unreal UMG and blueprints to build functional and animated UI widgets
  • Collaborate with team members to iterate on UI features and improve workflows
  • Contribute to maintaining consistency and quality across UI elements

The skills you’ll need:

  • Proficiency in digital techniques, with a focus on graphic design, layout, colour theory, and typography
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe XD)
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and their application in games
  • Ability to interpret and build upon art direction to deliver cohesive UI visuals
  • Experience developing assets from brief to implementation
  • Interest in the games industry and the role of UI in player experience
  • Receptive to feedback and able to iterate effectively
  • Good time management and communication skills
