Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, and reorganisations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key corporate documentation including SPAs, shareholder agreements, and investment documents.
  • Working closely with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues across other departments to deliver seamless, commercially focused legal advice.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees within the team.
  • Playing an active role in business development and contributing to the strategic growth of the corporate offering.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 4 years’ PQE in corporate law.
  • Experience managing M&A and investment transactions, ideally with exposure to SME and owner-managed business work.
  • Strong technical and drafting skills with a clear commercial mindset.
  • Confident and credible in client-facing situations, with a track record of building trusted relationships.
  • A team player with a proactive approach and a genuine interest in helping clients grow and protect their businesses.
  • Ambitious, organised, and looking for a long-term career move with a clear path to progression.
