In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.

The purpose of this role is to deliver robust support to the Sales team for Bids Management and to coordinate deployment of integrated gate management across Safran Seats three BUs. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Support Senior Sales Director in securing sales from Safran Seats GB, France and US.
  • Manage the implementation of a new Customer Governance process.
  • Manage the process with the SFR and SUS BUs and coordinate with the relevant departments to capture the requirements of the deliverables of the initial bid / no-bid and sales acquisition gates.
  • Support implementation of any Change Management Activities (e.g. BD Plan Process, New Business Acquisition, Escalation Process, Risk Management, etc.)
  • Ensure the successful use by the wider team of sales Tools (e.g. CRM).
  • Support Sales Director during customer visits as and when appropriate.
  • Support post sales award activity, including; monitoring contract negotiation, development and execution and liaison with internal teams to provide commercial support as the programme is handed over to Programme Management domain.
  • Work cross-functionally with bid support teams in GB, US and France to help coordinate commercial responses to customer queries.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer, working alongside the Senior Sales Director to advocate the voice of the customer at all levels within Safran Seats organisation.
  • When required lead the campaign efforts for small opportunities for the Region as directed by the Sales VP.

Experience of working within a similar role. Demonstrable experience/ desire to work in cross functional teams. Interested in becoming involved in managing Change Management & Processes Activities. Clear understanding of Processes & Continuous Improvement. Written and verbal communication skills. Confident, with the ability to work and liaise across the business departments, including the Executive team. Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan and consistently achieve challenging deadlines. Tenacious, determined and motivated by achievement of targets.
