Our client is a leading tech-driven quant and systematic hedge fund trading with offices across the globe. They leverage deep knowledge in data, research, technology and trading to deliver high-quality returns. Joining the global infrastructure team, you’ll be responsible for architecting, engineering and delivering all aspects of the network infrastructure, with a particular focus on colocation. You’ll partner closely with project management teams to enable full lifecycle management of network components across core network switching, firewalls, load balancers, instrumentation/telemetry, network CMDB and automation.

To be successful in this role, it is crucial that you must be able to demonstrate delivery of complex networks at scale, delivered through a software- and automation-driven mindset.

Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of high-performance networking, e.g. product capabilities & roadmaps from Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, etc.
  • Direct experience delivering networks supporting high-performance corporate infrastructure and low-latency computing architectures
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and collaborative communication abilities
  • Solid knowledge of the network vendor ecosystem and demonstrable experience of building relationships at senior layers with vendor product & engineering teams
  • Keen interest in industry trends and emerging technologies
