Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Team Leader - Farm and Companion to join our BCA team on a permanent, full-time basis. This exciting role within our Animal Management Centre involves working 40 hours per week on a timetable basis spread across 7 days per week.
The Team Leader - Farm and Companion is responsible for leading a team ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the animal centre. Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and husbandry to provide an outstanding student experience. You will be collaborating with the Animal Centre Manager to deliver daily husbandry and welfare talks to industry standards including feeding, cleaning, record keeping, behavioural observations, training and enrichment.
This role involves additional responsibility for managing team members, reviewing performance to ensure continuity care for our animals and positive learning experiences for students. You will also act as the Veterinary Liaison to coordinate routine and preventative treatments.
