Team/Role Overview
This is an entry-level role within the futures team in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing & welcoming team, who directly interact with numerous areas of the bank, including front office trading. This role is focused primarily on trade clearing at numerous EU and UK Clearing houses (CCPs) – ensuring that the books and records of the firm are kept in line with what is cleared in the real world. The successful candidate will receive supportive training and a personal development plan to help them succeed within this role and develop their career at Citi.
What you will do:
- Working with exchange traded derivatives (ETD) ensuring trades clear in good time
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to collectively create a best in class offering for our clients
- Maintain and update static data where needed
- Utilize your fresh perspective to suggest process improvements
What we will need from you:
- Previous relevant experience preferable but not essential
- Fundamental understanding of treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
- Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of macros
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
