We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead a team of technical experts aligned to the Connected Workplace technology domain, made up of Workplace, Unified Comms and Networks. This is a pivotal people leadership role, focused on enabling collaboration, driving consistent working practices, facilitating strategic decisions, and developing high-performing individuals across a global team.

Your New Role:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across Workplace Services, Unified Comms & Collaboration, and Networks, ensuring capability and capacity align with business demand.
  • Act as a key escalation and decision point, guiding risk management practices and reporting critical IT risks to leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with both Group and Divisional teams to drive alignment, process improvements, help shape strategic direction and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Ensure that documentation is complete, of high-quality and is shared appropriately to stakeholder groups across the enterprise.
  • Oversee the performance and quality of third-party providers and internal services, ensuring consistent service levels and adherence to SLAs.
  • Drive efficiencies within your technical scope through consolidation of products where possible.
  • Manage financial awareness within the team—forecasting needs, reviewing costs, and applying a commercial lens to technology planning.
  • Communicate complex decisions and processes clearly to stakeholders, building understanding and trust across a diverse global audience.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a people manager within a large, complex, or global organisation.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with a patient and process-guiding approach.
  • A robust understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, preferably across workplace services, unified comms and networks.
  • Ability to navigate and manage the demands of a global, cross-time-zone role.
  • Financially literate with the ability to consider cost implications in technical planning.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and driving cross-functional outcomes.
  • Adaptable leadership style that supports a diverse and varied team of professionals.
