About the Role: Industrious Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Factory Cleaner to join a well-established manufacturing site in Flitwick. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out thorough cleaning of factory production areas, including machinery exteriors, floors, walls, and work surfaces
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines
- Empty bins, remove waste, and ensure disposal procedures are followed
- Replenish hygiene and cleaning supplies as needed
- Work to cleaning schedules and complete records/checklists accurately
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Working Hours:
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 10-hour shifts, offering a consistent weekday schedule
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience in an industrial, factory, or warehouse environment preferred
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and prolonged standing
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Must be comfortable working around production machinery (no direct machine operation involved)
