Our client is a Global Logistics Company with their North-Sea hub based in Aberdeen. They are recruiting an additional person to the team, to help provide an outstanding logistics service to a multi-client portfolio.

As Transport Coordinator, you will support the Transport Manager with the co-ordination of road shipments from start to finish, including quotation, ensuring that clients receive excellent customer service care throughout all aspects of their enquiry. You will liaise with internal and external clients for all transport related issues and bookings for Norwegian and Holland/European trailer traffic.

The Transport Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Provide competitive pricing and transport solutions to clients that meet their needs
  • Ensuring that awarded jobs are processed and followed through to completion
  • Provide proactive updates to clients, resolving any issues that may arise
  • Billing clients as per working SOPs
  • Producing and completing all necessary paperwork, such as pre-alerts and CMRs
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of transport service
  • Ensure job files are processed and completed within the TMS
  • Load planning for both domestic and international trailers
