Searcys is seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to join one of its City-based venues. The client in this venue is a globally renowned law firm. This role is situated within a Business & Industry (B&I) contract near Barbican.

As a Hospitality Supervisor, you will work closely with the Hospitality Manager on site, supporting the operations team, talented chefs, and sales personnel to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks. You will build strong relationships with clients, understanding their briefs, and executing details with quality and a human touch. The role is Monday to Friday, based in the City of London.

Job Type: Full-time - 40 hours

Salary: £32,000, with overtime at x1.5

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of events on site
  • Train staff and casual labor to meet departmental standards
  • Monitor daily standards and report concerns
  • Liaise with kitchen, events, and reception teams to ensure consistent food and service quality
  • Meet clients upon arrival and ensure their requirements are met, communicating any changes effectively
  • Handle customer complaints courteously and escalate when necessary
  • Conduct regular checks for maintenance, housekeeping, and health & safety issues
  • Ensure compliance with in-house accounting policies, monitor stock, and perform stock takes
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and report discrepancies
  • Monitor staff timesheets for accuracy
