We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to deliver high quality market insight activity within student recruitment and marketing and provide support in the development of the University’s portfolio development process. This will be driven by a robust, evidence driven approach, with this role responsible for working closely with colleagues to develop rich analysis of findings, with a focus on developing clear recommendations for how to continually improve and shape our activity to benefit prospective applicants, students and colleagues.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Contribute and coordinate insight and evaluation activity across a range of student recruitment, admissions and marketing activity, undertaking the design and reporting of surveys across our activity.
- Develop innovative approaches to capturing insight from a range of audiences.
- Utilise evidence and market intelligence to provide evidence for decision making in relation to student recruitment, marketing and admissions practices.
- Contribute to the ongoing delivery of portfolio development work, delivering insight to ensure our provision meets the needs of our prospective students.
- Draw out trends and patterns in enquirer, applicant, offer-holder and registrations data, including emerging trends in-cycle, to inform plans for interventions.
- Participate in appropriate external professional networks to facilitate service benchmarking and improvement.
- Utilise evidence and research to understand emerging trends to inform and shape the delivery of our activity and advise on shaping processes and policy.
- Support the use of evidence and research in student recruitment, marketing and admissions decisions and processes.
- Develop, through evidence-led insights, relationships with key stakeholders to highlight areas of development and concern, working to develop solutions where possible.
- Carry out other duties, commensurate with the grade and remit of the post, including attendance at events and other critical business activity throughout the year including evenings and weekends.

Further Information
Grade: 6
Salary: £31,637 - £36,130 per annum with the potential to progress to £39,355 through sustained exceptional contribution.
Work arrangement: Full-time
