About the Role
- Support and/or prompt with personal care, including toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, and dressing.
- Support and/or prompt with cooking, meal preparation, and eating.
- Assist with medication management.
- Help with household chores and general homemaking.
- Support attendance at appointments such as hospital or doctor visits.
- Assist with transportation to school, work, college, and social activities.
- Encourage participation in sporting and leisure activities.
- Promote socialization, friendships, and independence.
- Build a trusting one-to-one relationship.
- Assist with gardening.
Applicants must be 18 or over, as medication administration is required. The needs may vary daily, and additional duties may be assigned as needed. Employees must report accidents and hazards immediately to ensure safety. This position requires a satisfactory DBS check (costs covered by employer).
